Really nice cafe, mainly the terrace and outside are is super pleasant . I can recommend to go on a sunny day, it’s relaxing with the water and green. After some drinks and food you can have a little stroll on the park. Staff was friendly and because of the reviews we order food quickly and it came also pretty fast (Most people where having drinks so I guess that was good for us). We ordered Bami Gori it was OK. I had a mint lemonade and my partner a radler. As many review mention there are many wasp and it can get annoying.

We ordered cappuccinos, and they were just perfect — rich, smooth, and served with a lovely touch of latte art. The setting, with a backdrop of trees, reflections on the lake, and a quiet breeze, felt like a hidden escape right in the middle of Berlin. Whether you’re visiting Engelbecken for a walk or just looking for a peaceful lakeside coffee, Café am Engelbecken is a spot that blends comfort, kindness, and a gorgeous view. Good place to enjoy the pond view on a nice day. View/location is perfect, food is alright but not too special. They offer a breakfast menu in the morning (around 10€) and Asian dishes from noon onwards. There is also a selection of cakes (around 4€). In spring you can see swans in their nest right next to the seating area. When the sun is out there are also turtles sunbathing on small platforms in the pond.

I discovered this place by chance during a previous visit to Berlin and now it's a must-have location every time I come. The only downside is that it can't be enjoyed in bad weather (cold, rain), because the main asset of the cafe is the beautiful open terrace overlooking the lake

The location and view are amazing. The service is good but contingent on how busy they are which can get very busy on weekends and holidays. Never tried the food so no comment on that. Prices are reasonable. Love this place and will be going back again and again.

The cafe is a hidden calm gem in Berlin. Good drink and food options (but we didn’t eat). Service wasn’t the most ideal, but it was fine. Seemed like one server was looking after almost everyone. Beautiful day to sit at the cafe overlooking the pond.

It is one of the best places for a sunny day and even great for winters. It has a perfect view of the lake, and it can be very lively or peaceful, and both are surprisingly great. The food and drinks are on the pricier side, but still great. Servers are all lovely but the service can be quite slow, which is not a problem personally but if it is it might bother you.

I’m so happy that I found this beautiful with nature cafe near my app, there is a pool in front of the cafe, and also it provides both indoor and outdoor area for customers. Ppl can also just lay on the lawn around the pond, it’s free and chill. In this summer time, just enjoy the nature and sunlight in the afternoon or on weekends. The menu is very nice, caters from drinks, cakes, food to wins as well. And it opens until midnight, so you can really stay there as late as you like. I ordered, coffee, lemon drinks, cake, and also one Vietnam dish, they are all nice, and the price is acceptable because the portion is good.
